Join Secret Garden School flower workshop on the first weekend of May held at Vorres museum in Paiania, Athens led by London-based flower designer Alina Dheere. This will be a unique experience where you are invited to immerse yourself in flowers surrounded by Greek Contemporary and Folk Art. Alina will take inspiration from the museum’s art collection and botanical gardens and will share with you her own creative process and vision regarding flower making and flower styling, always guiding and encouraging you to embrace your own ways and style.
On Saturday, Alina will demonstrate how to create a centrepiece using the museum’s space surroundings, colours and local produce as inspiration based on sustainable floristry techniques. Students will then be guided into creating and styling an alternative tablescape where its design will also include local fruit and vegetables. On Sunday, Alina will introduce you to a larger scale design, where by using various mechanics of floristry and through collaborative effort you will create a flower site-specific installation.
